Jamila Sweis, MA, ALC, is a licensed clinical therapist and founder of Clear Path Counseling, a private practice offering compassionate, individualized therapy to help clients navigate life’s challenges. She has specialized training in psycho-oncology and is committed to advancing mental health in cancer care, empowering clients with evidence-based tools tailored to their unique needs. At Clear Path Counseling, she supports individuals as they navigate the emotional and psychological impact of cancer and life transitions, while also extending care to the caregivers and medical teams who support them.
Jamila earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Family Institute at Northwestern University in Chicago and a Master of Arts in Psychology from Roosevelt University in Chicago.
She also serves on the Advisory Board of WellStone, a nonprofit community behavioral health organization dedicated to improving access to comprehensive mental health and substance use treatment throughout North Alabama. In her spare time, Jamila enjoys playing tennis and knitting.
